Utility model application

Utility model protection is a form of legal protection for technical solutions not reaching the level of a patentable invention. Protection shall be granted for any solution relating to the configuration or construction of an article or arrangement of parts thereof if it is new, involves an inventive step and is susceptible of industrial application. The owner of the utility model has the exclusive right to exploit the utility model or to license another person to exploit it. The protection has a term of 10 years, then the utility model becomes part of the public domain.
