Extension of the duration of the supplementary protection certificate (SPC)

In the case of authorized medicinal products protected by a supplementary protection certificate (SPC), the duration of the supplementary protection certificate may be extended by a further six months provided that the application for extension includes the results of all studies carried out in accordance with the approved pediatric investigation plans.
